Purpose and Use-Cases of IdentiFi Score
It provides a quick credibility check for any profile. A high Identifi Score means this user is very active, widely recognized, and likely a valuable community member. A low score might suggest a newcomer or someone who hasn’t engaged much yet.
The score powers leaderboards and ranking systems. ForU can maintain global or community-specific leaderboards of top contributors based on Identifi Score, sparking healthy competition. Because the score blends many factors, climbing the leaderboard encourages holistic engagement.
It is used in quest targeting and badge triggers. For example, certain quests might be unlocked only for users above or below a certain Identifi Score. Similarly, hitting a score milestone might automatically grant a badge.
It aids trait validation and persona adjustments: the data going into Identifi Score can confirm if someone genuinely fits their claimed persona (e.g., if someone’s persona is “Educator” but their credibility is low due to toxic interactions, the system might flag that misalignment).
The Identifi Score can also become a “social credit” for external parties – for instance, partners might choose Identifi Score thresholds for airdrops or special access.
Importantly, the Identifi Score is dynamic. It goes up as the user expands their reach or accumulates achievements, but it can also go down if, say, their engagement drops or they exhibit negative behavior. This ensures the score remains a current representation of the user, not just historical. It encourages continuous positive participation, not one-time farming.
All the inputs to the Identifi Score are transparent to the user via a breakdown. A user can see how their score is composed and how it’s changed over time. This transparency helps users understand what actions can improve their reputation.
