XP NFT Badges

Badges in ForU are achievement markers that serve as identity artifacts, behavior proofs, and growth records for users. Earning a badge is a way to capture a notable milestone or trait. They can represent anything from being a top content creator, to completing a significant quest, to exemplifying a particular persona trait. Badges are non-transferable, ensuring they authentically represent a user’s personal achievements and reputation.

Badge Tiering: Every badge in the ForU system has a rarity tier from 1 to 4, with Tier 1 being common and Tier 4 being the most rare or prestigious. Higher-tier badges are both visually distinct and carry greater weight in terms of rewards and reputation. Badge tiers signal the level of accomplishment, a higher tier badge is a strong social signal of expertise or impact in that area.

Badge Acquisition: Users obtain badges through multiple paths:

• Achievement Milestones: Many badges are unlocked by reaching predefined milestones (e.g. hitting a certain number of posts, achieving a high engagement rate, reaching a new XP level).

• AI-Detected Traits: The AI engine can automatically award badges when it detects a notable pattern in a user’s behavior. These AI-triggered badges are often hidden until unlocked, users might not know they exist until they earn them.

  
• Quests and Campaigns: Completion of certain quests can grant a badge.

• Fusion: Uniquely, ForU supports Badge Fusion, a system where users can combine or upgrade badges to unlock new ones. Fusion recipes can be of different types:

• Vertical Fusion: Collecting all lower tiers of a badge to unlock a master version (e.g., owning Tier 1, 2, and 3 of a “Helper” badge might let you fuse them into a Tier 4 “Master Helper” badge).

• Horizontal Fusion: Combining badges from the same trait family to create a special “Ascended” badge.

• Cross-Family Fusion: Mixing a diverse set of badges to produce a unique hybrid badge.

• Seasonal/Event Fusion: Completing all badges from a specific event or season to unlock a commemorative badge.

• DNA-Based Fusion: Combining badges that match your current top persona trait to deepen that identity marker.

• Story or Mystery Fusion: Some fusion badges have hidden recipes that encourage exploration.

• The fusion system does not consume the original badges used as ingredients; instead, it checks that the user has the required badge set, then grants the new fused badge. This means users keep their old badges and simply add the new one on top – preserving their full achievement history. Many fusion pathways are deliberately kept hidden until discovered by the community, adding a layer of intrigue and encouraging users to experiment or collaborate to find out how to unlock rare badges.
